Virtual Telehealth
How Virtual Services Work
Virtual sessions work much the same way as traditional therapy sessions with one significant difference – the provider and the client are not in the same room.
Services are scheduled at an appropriate and suitable time and day for each party, who then log-in via an agreed, secure video platform. The provider and client can see and/or hear each other in real-time during the session via the use of webcams and/or tele-communications device. Through this virtual environment, they can interact with each other, and the provider uses the traditional techniques and activities they would use during face-to-face services.
How to Access Virtual Services
Virtual services may be accessed via computer or phone. If you are interested in virtual services please contact NTLFG at (410) 300-2959. Once enrolled in virtual services you will be provided a direct link or phone number via text or email based on your contact preference.
Virtual Services Are Confidential
NTLFG Employees are legally bound by privacy laws to not share details about virtual services with third parties, just as with face-to-face services. Providers must ensure they are in a private and secure location before engaging in any virtual services. It is up to the client to make sure they conduct their end of the service in an equally private area to ensure their confidentiality.
